Munich Business School is a private international business school which is situated in Munich in the Bavaria state of Germany. This institution was founded in 1991 under the name Europäische Betriebswirtschafts-Akademie by the European Business International (ebsi) London, Paris, Madrid, and Milan. In 1999, the institution received state accreditation by the Bavarian Ministry of Education and Culture, Science, and the Arts.
In 2003, this institution was renamed as Munich Business School. In the same year, it also introduced the Bachelor International Business program. In 2009, MBS introduced its Master International Business program completely in English as well as German/English. In the same year, it also introduced “International Family Firms” and “Luxury Management” in its master’s program. In 2010, it received unlimited state accreditation as well as the institutional accreditation from the German Council of Science and Humanities. In 2014, this institution extended its study programs by adding the DBA Doctor of Business Administration. In 2015, it received reaccreditation by the German Council of Science and Humanities.
