UCLA Biomedical Engineering is ranked as one of the best in the nation. The Department of Biomedical Engineering at UCLA is ranked #3 out of all universities in the United States, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2019 list of Best Graduate Schools.

UCLA Biomedical Engineering is also ranked #2 among public institutions and #6 overall in the world for biomedical engineering research. In addition to its high rankings, UCLA Biomedical Engineering is home to some of the most innovative research being done in the field today.

The department offers a variety of degree programs in biomedical engineering: a PhD program for students who want to pursue research careers; an MS program for students who want to enter industry; and a BS program for those who want to pursue careers in medicine or dentistry.

UCLA’s School of Engineering has been ranked among the top biomedical engineering programs in the country. The school offers undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral degrees in biomedical engineering and is home to more than 50 research groups.

In addition to its excellent quality of research and education, UCLA’s biomedical engineering program is known for its commitment to diversity and inclusion. The School of Engineering is home to nearly 30% underrepresented minority students who come from communities that have historically been underrepresented in engineering. These students receive financial aid through UCLA’s Financial Aid Initiative for Underrepresented Minorities (FIAUM).

The UCLA Biomedical Engineering program is ranked among the top 10 in the world. This ranking was determined by a study conducted by U.S. News & World Report, which looked at the quality of each program’s faculty, research and curriculum offerings, as well as its reputation among academics and professionals in the field.

UCLA’s biomedical engineering degree has been awarded to over 400 students since its inception in 2013. The program offers undergraduate degrees in bioengineering, biomedical engineering or biomolecular engineering; graduate degrees in biomedical engineering or biomolecular engineering; and doctoral degrees in bioengineering or biomolecular engineering. The department also offers minor programs for non-majors who wish to gain an understanding of the field without pursuing a full degree.

The bio engineering major at UCLA is not ranked on College Factual’s Best Colleges and Universities for Biomedical Engineering. This could be for a number of reasons, such as not having enough data on the major or school to make an accurate assessment of its quality.
