ProsGood teachers, Affordable, Positive environment, Hands-on training
ConsLack of career service.
Other CommentsGood combination of class room training and hands-on training. As the classes became more difficult I joined a study group twice a week and my grades soared. It was very enjoyable to do this with other students who were struggling to watch their grades soar too. The comradery was wonderful.

ProsHands-on training
ConsDisorganized teachers with limited clinical experience.
Other CommentsThe course content wasn’t as pertinent as the hands on preceptor learning. It’s important to find a multifaceted mentor to maximise experience . Classmates with more specialised preceptor ships had more difficulty with certification exam than those with internal medicine or family practice mentorships

ConsVirtual learning is sometimes difficult because you have to work harder as a student to locate and discover the information you need.

Other CommentsIt was hard work. I had to learn to be organized for myself and not depend on Professors to remind me of due dates. It requires determination and perseverance. The hardest part for me was raising 3 children, working full time, and maintaining a marriage all while giving school every ounce of my hard effort. This program really prepared me well for what was in my future. There’s going to be bad preceptors for everyone, but learn from them as well. It was worth every moment.
