The laws schools on this list are known for being very accessible in terms of admissions, meaning even those who aren’t top students can apply with confidence that they won’t be rejected outright. Most of these schools are also known for offering many opportunities for students to gain hands-on legal experience while studying, which could help make up for any deficiencies during the application process. Plus, at least one of the schools on this list is ranked higher than some Ivy League schools! The City University of New York School of Law is a public law school that is located in New York City, NY. It’s part of the City University of New York (CUNY) System and was established in 1954 as a part of what was then known as the New York State College for Women. Today, CUNY School of Law is one of the largest law schools in the country with more than 10,000 students enrolled each year (approximately 2/3 graduate).

- GPA: The University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law admits students with a minimum GPA of 2.00 to 2.99, though it is not currently accepting any applications with 3.00 or higher GPAs.
- LSAT: The school also has no minimum LSAT score requirements, as long as you submit all official test results by the application deadline (March 5th).
- Scores: Since they do not require an applicant’s GPA or LSAT scores at all, they do not use these numbers in the admissions process either; instead applicants are accepted based on their personal statements and recommendations from professors and employers.

Western Michigan University Cooley Law School
Western Michigan University Cooley Law School is a private, for-profit law school located in Lansing, Michigan. Founded in 1972 as the Thomas M. Cooley Law School and known as the Thomas M. Cooley Law School of Western Michigan University until 2014, it is one of the oldest law schools in the United States. In 2017-18, WMU Cooley reported an average median LSAT score of 155 and GPA 3.09 for incoming students (50th percentile). In addition to these scores, academic record (GPA) also plays a significant role when selecting students for admission into WMU Cooley’s JD program; therefore if you have below average grades but high LSAT scores then it might still be possible to get accepted into this school if your other credentials are strong enough.[4][5]

The City University of New York School of Law is a public law school that offers an evening program for working adults. CUNY has several other law schools, but this one stands out for its competitive admissions rate and lower cost than many other tier-one programs. The school’s student body comes from all over the world, but most students are from New York City itself—including some who live in nearby boroughs or outer boroughs like Brooklyn and Queens, as well as Long Island residents who commute to the main campus in downtown Manhattan.
CUNY allows you to apply through five different tracks: ABA transfer application track; JST/JD dual degree program; LLM transfer application track; LSAT only transfer application track (for those with a JD from another institution); Non-Traditional Pathway Program (NTPP) track (for those who have never attended college).
