Truett McConnell University offers 52 areas of study and 100% of freshmen receive financial aid.  With 18 sports teams, the school is a member of the NAIA Appalachian Athletic Conference.  Affiliated with the Baptist church, students can find a Christ centered education with many programs, activities, intramural sports, and community groups, it is easy to feel connected with the school community.  It is also relatively easy to get into Truett McConnell, with a 93% acceptance rate.

Luther Rice College and Seminary offers a Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a major in Biblical Studies.  Minors include biblical counseling, Christian worldview, and ministry.  Graduate degree programs and seminary degree programs are also available.  With a student population made of 72% males and 28% females, many who are enrolled also work full-time jobs and have a family. Resident housing is not available.  This school has an 81.8% rate of job placement after graduation.

A leading research university, Emory University also includes Emory Healthcare, the most comprehensive health system in Georgia.  The school awards nearly equal amounts of undergraduate and graduate degrees each year.  It is competitive to get into Emory University, with only about 4,500 of 30,000 applicants being admitted.  The school is a part of the NCAA Division III and has 19 sports teams.  There are hundreds of student groups and the school strives to provide a diverse and inclusive campus

A family environment is offered at Brewton-Parker College, which was founded in 1904.  There are a large number of student organizations to get involved with and a variety of programs of study available.  The school has 16 athletic teams and has a student-teacher ratio of 18:1.  The campus is lovely and the school is affiliated with the Baptist faith.  Only undergraduate programs are available here and the school has a high acceptance rate.

With an Evangelical, Pentecostal foundation, Emmanuel College is a member of the NCAA Division II and has 29 intercollegiate athletic teams.  The student to teacher ratio is 15:1 and there is housing for up to 600 students on campus.  Degree programs are divided into the School of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Christian Ministries, and School of Education.  There are many clubs and organizations on campus and the school has a rich history, dating back to 1919.
