Founded in 1856, Auburn University is a non-profit public state higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Auburn (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Alabama. Officially accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, Auburn University (AU) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational US higher education institution. Scholarships
There are external and internal (Auburn) scholarships available for students. External scholarships are pursued by students on their own; here is a link to get you started.
There are three main sources of internal scholarships: University, College, and Department Level. All scholarships may be applied for through the Auburn University Scholarship Opportunity Manager (AUSOM).

- Department Scholarships: Thanks to the support of individuals, foundations, industry and government, the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering has a number of scholarship opportunities available for students. Most of these scholarships are for current students in the major, but a few are available for freshmen who have declared pre-Industrial Engineering as their major (Comer and Parke). Scholarships are usually awarded for the academic year and selections are made based on academic performance evaluated at the end of Fall semester. Application for all department scholarships is made through the Auburn University Scholarship Opportunity Manager (AUSOM).
The university requires students to maintain a 3.0 GPA to hold a scholarship. Some of our scholarships require a higher GPA and some require financial need as evidenced by the FAFSA. We have to respect the wishes of the donors in awarding scholarships.
