The program consists of 30 credits, which are divided into three core courses and two electives. The first course is called Introduction To Counselling And Psychotherapy, which focuses on the theoretical approaches to counselling and psychotherapy, including an overview of the history and theory of counselling. In addition to this course, students must take a practicum course called Counselling Practicum: Counseling Skills Development (3 credits). Students are required to complete these two courses before they can begin their third core course called Counselling Skills Development (6 credits).
