The majority of classes are held on weekday afternoons, but there are evening classes available as well.

Campus Langues offers a range of different French classes depending on your level. They have evening classes from €29 a week. If you have a busy schedule and don’t have enough time to attend classes, you could try their online Skype classes. WICE is an English speaking community which offers French classes throughout the year. It’s a great place to meet some fellow expats if you’re new to the city. Classes are small and range from beginner to advanced levels. You can sign up online and need to complete a placement test first to determine your level before starting.

Mairie de Paris

These classes are offered by the mairie de Paris and are open to anyone over the age of 18 living in Paris. There are both evening and day classes available in many locations across Paris. You can attend the evening FLE classes for €140 per semester. You have to register online and can sign up for a maximum of three classes.

Although probably the most expensive destination in the country in terms of accommodation, you really can’t not consider Paris.

2. Montpellier

Often overlooked in favour of more well known destinations, Montpellier is a great place to live and study. With pretty architecture, warm weather and over 300 day of sun a year you will fall in love with this city! Beaches are also only 20 mintues away. The Accent Francais language school who are located in central Montpellier are highly recommended and offer short and long term courses for beginners and more advanced levels.

3. Nice
