Healthcare Management Degrees Offered at Wake Forest University

Wake Forest University is comprised of six colleges and schools which house 45 major programs and 60 minors. Wake Forest’s College of Medicine was established to assist the surrounding community and provide people with care from physicians who are leaders and highly-skilled professionals. Students can obtain their degrees from a renowned program that is a leader in most of its available programs.
Master’s and professional students who choose to pursue nursing will be participating in a 24-month program that is committed to academic excellence by exposing students to clinical practices and coursework. Students are taught their curriculum through problem-based learning opportunities as well as service-learning projects. Some of the nursing courses include Advanced Principles of Nurse Anesthesia Practice, Applied Clinical Learning in Nurse Anesthesia II, Respiratory and Cellular Pathophysiology for Nurse Anesthesia.

Wake Forest University Accreditation Details
Wake Forest University received accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). Certain programs at the university have also received individual accreditation credentials as well, including The Nurse Anesthesia program which received accreditation from the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. The MD program received accreditation from the Liaison Committee on Medical Education.
The Physician Assistant (PA) Program received accreditation from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The medical programs are recognized by the Northwest Area Health Education Center (NW AHEC) as well as the Office of Continuing Medical Education (OCME). The graduate medical fellowship and residency programs received accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
Wake Forest University Application Requirements
Undergraduate students should submit official high school transcripts, letters of recommendation, a $65 application fee, and optional SAT or ACT scores. International students should supply all the same documents along with TOEFL or IELTS scores. When applying, students should also submit applications for financial aid.
Graduate students applying for health-related or clinical sciences related programs of study should submit a curriculum vitae, a personal statement of interest, a resume, and an optional scheduled resume. Graduates should also submit official or unofficial transcripts depending on what the program of choice requires.

Tuition and Financial Aid
First-year undergraduate students pursuing a bachelor’s degree will have tuition of $77,342. With need-based and merit-based scholarships tuition can decrease to as low as $25,375. On average, students receive scholarship awards of $43,755.
In general, students pursuing their master’s degrees will pay $67,431. For those who are seeking a Ph.D., tuition will be $64,026. Students who are not full-time will pay $1,465 per credit hour. This price includes the cost of books and supplies, housing, utilities, meal plans, transportation, miscellaneous, federal loan fees, and health insurance.
Students pursuing a Ph.D. in Nursing will pay $1,290 per credit hour as well as a $775 annual fee.
Master’s and Ph.D. students who are accepted into one of the programs within the School of Medicine have the potential to receive full scholarships and awards. Students can obtain financial assistance through federal loans, direct loans, and scholarships.
