University Of Toronto Pharmacy Requirements

The University of Toronto has several pharmacy programs available. The following is a summary of the requirements for each:

PharmD – Doctor of Pharmacy

This program is offered at both the St. George Campus and Scarborough Campus. The first two years are completed at either campus, after which students can complete their clinical rotations at any hospital or clinic in Ontario. In order to be eligible for admission, you must have completed high school with a minimum average of 70% (65% if English is not your first language). You must also meet all prerequisite courses in English and math, as well as any other prerequisites required by the program. Bachelor of Science (BSc)Pharmacy

This four-year program is offered through UofT Scarborough’s Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE). It’s designed for students who want to pursue a career in pharmacy but do not wish to work toward becoming pharmacists

The University of Toronto (U of T) is one of the top universities in Canada and has been ranked as one of the best in the world. The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at U of T offers a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in pharmacy, as well as doctoral research programs.

To be eligible for admission to the U of T Pharmacy program, applicants must have graduated from high school, received their GED or equivalent, or have taken the Canadian Pre-University course with a minimum average grade of 70%.

Applicants must also meet specific University requirements:

Have completed 4U English with a minimum average grade of 70%.

Have obtained an overall average grade of 70% on all science courses taken during high school or if your education was completed outside North America, have obtained an overall average grade of 75% on these courses.
