Admission to the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering is competitive. Our admission process is transparent and based on a set of standards that have been developed by faculty members who understand the academic needs of our students, as well as the professional requirements of employers. We expect applicants to have completed their Grade 12 academic studies with strong performance in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Students who are considering applying to Computer Science should also consider taking an introductory course in computer programming such as C++ (or equivalent) in Grade 11 or 12.
The Faculty offers first-year courses in most subjects at both the St. George Campus (SGC), located near downtown Toronto, and at UTSC, located on the Scarborough Bluffs overlooking Lake Ontario.
