Established in 1880, the University of Southern California is among the oldest private research universities of America situated in Los Angeles, California. It is considered as the global centre for technology, International Business, and arts. There were just 10 teachers and 53 students in the university when it opened in 1880. The University Park Campus, located in downtown Los Angeles, houses David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Science and USC Dana and many professional schools. The health campus in the northeast of downtown houses the School of Pharmacy and various programs in Occupational Science and in Physical Therapy and Bio kinesiology.
