Cost To Attend The University Of Arizona
Before International Student Services (ISS) can issue your immigration document, you must show enough funding to cover the cost of tuition and fees, living expenses and the mandatory UA-sponsored Student Health Insurance Plan.

The amounts listed below are only an estimate of what you will actually pay, based on funding requirements for the 2019-2020 academic year. Tuition and fees includes the $200 International Student Fee charged to F-1 and J-1 students each semester. The actual cost of tuition and fees may change, depending on your academic program, year, and special course fees.

The tuition and fees listed below are for UA Main Campus students. If you have been admitted to a distance campus (for example, UA South) please send us an email to find out the total proof of funding you are required to show.

In order to confirm enrollment at the University of Arizona, all new degree-seeking undergraduates must pay a one-time enrollment fee of $395 if you were admitted for spring 2020 or $425 if you were admitted for fall 2020. You can pay the enrollment fee via the Next Steps Center. The enrollment fee is separate from tuition and fees listed above. If you are not required to pay the enrollment fee, add $125 for the orientation fee in your first semester. If you will begin at the university as a first-year undergraduate student, add $10/semester for the first-year fee. University of Arizona is a public institution that was founded in 1885. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 35,801, its setting is city, and the campus size is 392 acres. It utilizes a semester-based academic calendar. University of Arizona’s ranking in the 2021 edition of Best Colleges is National Universities, #97. Its in-state tuition and fees are $12,402; out-of-state tuition and fees are $36,738.

One of the largest public institutions in its state, the University of Arizona in Tucson offers students a wide range of activities and academic opportunities, including three levels of intramural sports and more than 50 fraternities and sororities, among many other student organizations. The Arizona Wildcats NCAA Division I teams compete in the Pac-12 Conference. As a research institution, both undergraduate and graduate students get involved in research projects at UA.
