The University of Cambridge is the second oldest university in the world, founded in 1209. The university is located in the city of Cambridge and is made up of 31 colleges and over 100 departments, faculties and schools. Cambridge is one of the most prestigious universities in the world and has produced 13 Nobel Prize winning alumni.
Cambridge accept applications from students who wish to study for undergraduate degrees from around the world. The university also accepts applications from students who wish to study postgraduate courses at any level from masters to doctorate.

University College London (UCL) is a public research university in London, England, and a constituent college of the federal University of London. Founded in 1826 as University College, London, it was the first institution to be established in London, and today it is one of the largest universities in the United Kingdom by total enrolment.
Ucl Acceptance Rate Law
The university has its origins in the 1826 foundation stones laid at the site of University College by Sir George Birkbeck and his colleague and former student, Lord Macaulay. Its official title was changed from “University College” to “University College London” (UCL) on 23 April 1836 (the same day it received its royal charter). The name change was made after it had become commonly known as UCL (in many quarters pronounced “you-claw”).
UCL is one of the most competitive law schools in the world. The university receives more than 8,000 applications for approximately 150 places in each year. That means that the acceptance rate at UCL is just 1.6 percent.
The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) reported that the average acceptance rate for all U.S. law schools was 54 percent in 2018, but some schools had much lower rates — and others had much higher ones.
According to LSAC data, Harvard Law School had an acceptance rate of 5 percent, making it the most selective law school in the country for the third year in a row. Yale Law School followed closely behind with an acceptance rate of 6 percent. Columbia University School of Law came in third place with an admission rate of 7 percent and Stanford Law School received 5 percent of applicants who applied for admission during its 2018 admissions cycle.
At UCL, applicants must have at least an upper second-class undergraduate degree or above to be considered for entry onto our LLB course (BA/LLB). Students may also apply directly onto our MA programme if they have a 2:1 or above degree in any subject area
