The Clausthal University of Technology is one of the leading universities in Germany and is internationally recognized for its practice-oriented education. Located in the western Harz Mountain, this university has more than 4,100 students and 1,050 employees. It has operated as the University of Technology since 1968 and runs 36 institutes under three faculties.
