The University Of South Florida Accelerated Nursing Program is a fast-track nursing program. Students can earn their bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) and a master’s degree in nursing (MSN) in just seven years. Students can choose from one of three majors: adult health, family health and mental health. They’ll also take courses covering topics like case management, leadership skills, research methods and community health education.

The University of South Florida Accelerated Nursing Program (ANP) is a fast-track option for those who want to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) in less than five years. The program is offered at USF’s Tampa campus, but students can also take courses at USF Sarasota-Manatee and attend classes on the Tampa campus.
The Accelerated Nursing Program curriculum includes classes that cover all aspects of nursing, from anatomy and physiology to clinical practice. Students will also take courses in statistics, research methods and leadership strategies. Students are required to complete a field experience as part of their coursework.
The accelerated nursing program at USF is designed for students who have already earned an associate degree in nursing or another related field from an accredited program. Students must apply to the ANP during their first semester of enrollment and meet with an academic advisor prior to admission into the program. The application process requires submission of transcripts from previously completed college courses as well as three letters of recommendation.
Students accepted into the accelerated nursing program must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher throughout their studies at USF; failure to do so may result in dismissal from the program.

The University of South Florida Accelerated Nursing Program (ANP) is a fast paced, 12 month program designed to prepare graduates to work as registered nurses. Students will begin their first semester of coursework in January, followed by clinical rotations from July through December at hospitals throughout Tampa Bay area. Upon completion of the ANP curriculum students will be eligible for licensure as Registered Nurses (RNs) in Florida. Student must complete all coursework prior to attending clinical rotations and must maintain a 2.75 GPA or higher throughout the program.
