Main Requirements

1. Degree certificate and transcript of studies

As a starting point, you need to have at least 6/7 semesters of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or at least 7 semesters in another engineering field. This is the main requirement in German universities.

If you don’t have a bachelor in mechanical engineering your other undergraduate studies must be at least 7 semester-long and have 210 credits.

Note that some universities accept only applicants with a bachelor in mechanical engineering because the MS program is tightly built on the bachelor.
