They had partnered with the University of Miami after they kept the name so that they can provide training for operating flights under the Civilian Pilot Training Program thereby increasing the total number of pilots immediately before World War II. This is a non-profit university that is ranked as the level six institute by the Southern Association of colleges and schools so that they can award degrees at bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral and associate levels. The university programs are accredited by the Aviation accreditation board International (AABI).
The programs are that of air traffic management, aeronautical science, applied meteorology, flight operations, aerospace, and occupational safety and airport management.
