Steve Komphela is a South African football coach who is currently the head coach of Kaizer Chiefs. His contract was renewed on 16 December 2017, to see him remain at the club until 2019. Komphela started coaching as an assistant at Chief Santos in 2007, before moving to Free State Stars and then Lamontville Golden Arrows. He made his name by winning three league titles and one cup with Supersport United in four seasons (2010–14), before joining Orlando Pirates in June 2014.
