The highest paid player on the team was pitcher Gerrit Cole, who received $36 million, followed by designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton, who earned $26 million, and pitcher, Masahiro Tanaka, who made $23 million. The lowest paid players were Ben Heller, Thario Estrada, Michael King and Brooks Kriske, earning $563,500; catcher Kyle Higashioka, who made $579,200; and infielder Mike Ford, who received $579,800.

Though amounts were unspecified, additional compensation included payments for performing team services in addition to playing baseball, lump sums paid for trading or releasing a player, value of individual property rights granted to a player by the club, and compensation for career employment after the MLB baseball playing career.
