Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) is a co-educational public university located in Weatherford, Oklahoma. The university was founded in Chickasha, Oklahoma in 1905 as the Chickasha Normal School and Business College. In 1908 the school moved to Eufaula, Oklahoma and changed its name to East Central Normal School. In 1909 it moved again to Weatherford, and changed its name one last time to Southwestern Normal School.

  • Mann Hall: The Mann Hall is a newly renovated residence complex on the campus that offers industrial-themed resident houses with individual bathrooms, study lounges, resident advisor quarters on each floor and laundry facility on the ground floor.
