  • Students involved in full-time programs of RRU are required to find off-campus residence throughout the course. Only 2 weeks of temporary campus accommodations are available.
  • The accommodations are provided at Millward and Nixon’s buildings located at the center of the Colwood campus. Students and visitors can choose between some options depending upon their needs. There are single or double private rooms and dormitory-styled units with shared washrooms.
  • Food facility is available at the nearby Habitat Café for seven days a week. The residence lounges include coffee makers, refrigerators, toasters, microwaves, kettles, and cutlery.
  • For international students, the stay is managed by Canada Homestay Network (CHN) which provides welcoming and warm accommodation along with related custodianship services.
  • Located only 2km from Royal Roads, students can consider ‘Solo Suites’. They offer an off-campus housing facility for the short term with furnished rental suites.

Application Process of Royal Roads University

Students can visit the university’s official website to fill the application form of RRU. They must create an RRU MyAdmin Account beforehand.

Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee is charged by RRU. The application fee for Graduate, Undergraduate, and Certificate Programs is 126.28 CAD and for the General Studies course it is 29.71 CAD.
Application Deadline:

  • Deadlines for the programs vary in RRU. Also, it is possible that the seats are filled before the deadline. Hence, it is recommended to fill the application form as early as possible.
  • International students are advised to submit their application form 6 months in advance as obtaining a study permit can take months depending upon the nationality of the student.
