Regis University is a private Jesuit university in Denver, Colorado. It was founded by the Society of Jesus in 1877 and is a member of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities.
Regis is divided into five colleges: Regis College, The Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions, the College of Contemporary Liberal Studies, the College of Computer and Information Sciences and the Anderson College of Business. The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
Regis College houses the traditional, undergraduate (and Masters of Art in Education & Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences) programs. These programs are designed for recent high school graduates, or transfer students, with little or no professional work experience.
Merit scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement to entering full-time, first-year, and transfer students seeking degrees. Students are notified of their eligibility by the Office of Undergraduate Admission at the time of their acceptance. The designation of a merit scholarship remains in effect for up to four years of undergraduate study, provided the student maintains the minimum renewal requirements.
Scholarships and grants are awards based on academic performance, program of study, leadership potential, other talents and/or financial need (based on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and do not need to be repaid. Regis awards $500 scholarships to up to 200 students annually. Winners are announced two weeks prior to each start date. To be eligible for the #RegisInspired scholarship, you must be admitted and registered three weeks prior to classes starting for your intended start date in a Regis undergraduate or graduate accelerated or online degree program. Excludes students pursuing programs or classes as “non-degree seeking” students. You ust be starting a new degree program (not for current students who started in previous terms).
Numerous scholarships are awarded annually to incoming Doctor of Pharmacy students. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, university mission fit and diversity. All students admitted to the program are considered for the scholarships and notified with their admission decision if selected. These scholarships are spread out over eight semesters and applied towards tuition.
