CONCLUSION

Obviously there is high demand for postdocs in the scientific community right now so it seems sensible that they would be made to work rather than paid a small stipend. The proof is in the details however and something has to be said about job security here. Right from the outset it seems that postdocs are relied upon by the university to keep costs low. Can this really be sustainable? My personal experience has been that anyone who feels strongly about the issues focused on above should perhaps consider writing similar articles dedicated to postdoctoral topics specific to their own country.
