Physical Therapy Internship For High School Students
The physical therapy internship is the first step to becoming a licensed physical therapist. During this program, you will learn how to perform basic tasks such as developing a treatment plan, conducting evaluations and screenings, and using treatment techniques. You will also learn how to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
This program is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career as a physical therapist. It’s helpful if you have some experience working with patients or have some knowledge about what it takes to become a PT. In addition, good communication skills are essential because you’ll be working closely with patients throughout the internship program.
