Study in a centre of expertise
Our Institute of GeoEnergy Engineering has more than 40 years of experience in delivering world-class teaching and research in Petroleum Engineering disciplines to understand oil and gas production as well as carbon capture and storage (CCS). We provide expertise to the energy industry to produce hydrocarbons efficiently and safely and to store greenhouse gas emissions in the subsurface that would otherwise be emitted to the atmosphere.
Access industry expertise
The Institute’s industry-based Strategic Advisory Board supports its activities in the wider context of the needs of industry and students also benefit from guest lectures and extra tutorial sessions offered by the Institute’s industry connections.
