Ohio University’s Online MBA program was recently ranked 42nd by Fortune in its inaugural Best Online MBA rankings. OHIO is the highest ranked school in the state that does not require the GMAT for students to apply and attend.

This brand-new ranking by Fortune was created after conducting a survey of more than 200 colleges, in which they were asked an array of questions about enrollment, requirements, retention rates, graduation rates and applicants.

“The Online MBA provides the best learning experience for working professionals who value how they can apply what they learn to their jobs immediately while being in a flexible program,” College of Business Dean Jackie Rees Ulmer said. “I am thrilled that this program continues to receive national recognition and has an outstanding reputation for excellence. Our faculty and professional staff are dedicated to making this an exceptional experience for students.”

OHIO’s nationally ranked College of Business offers the highly recognized Online MBA program, which features nine areas of concentration to help students reach their personalized professional goals in a way that is comprehensive of material but also flexible to the student’s schedule.

“I am extremely proud of our online MBA program’s most recent recognition,” Bill Young, director of the Online MBA and O’Bleness Associate Professor of Business Analytics, said. “Our ranking from Fortune is a testament to the quality of our faculty, staff, and students. Our program is known for being student-centered and we are becoming known for our ability to help our students reach their professional goals.”

The Online MBA program continues to gain recognition, ranking 109th out of 300 programs by U.S. News and World Report in 2020 and having two Online MBA students named Business Leaders of Tomorrow. OHIO’s Online MBA was also ranked 29 in the United States by Poets&Quants.

OHIO’s College of Business also offers a Professional MBA program, which is a blend of virtual classes and in-person residencies located on the Dublin campus, a One-Year MBA program in Athens and several other graduate business degree and certificate programs that are offered in online, hybrid and on-campus formats.
