Ohio University Lancaster Library is located in Lancaster, Ohio. It consists of a library and administrative office. Library books can be borrowed at some distance learning sites in Athens at the following locations: University Center, Hocking College, Southern Ohio Medical Center, Lancaster Municipal Courthouse, and W R Shaw Building. The library provides single user computers for access to databases and the Internet

Special Collections

  • Goslin Collection: A limited collection of material used by Charles Goslin, a Lancaster naturalist whose writing was a regular feature in newspapers in Fairfield County. Donated material is also found in the library’s collection.
  • Student Newspapers: Incomplete runs of a variety of student newspapers and newsletters from the late 1960s to the mid-1980s.
