Nus Veterinary Medicine has a number of entry requirements. Most applicants will have achieved a good level of academic achievement in their secondary education and be ready to begin the study of veterinary medicine.
The following are the minimum requirements for admission into NUS:
Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents (SPR) must meet the following requirements:
Must have completed at least SPM or the equivalent with credits in English, Science, Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. Candidates who are required to take up CCA or Religious Studies as part of their Secondary School curriculum may be exempted from taking these subjects;
Must obtain a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 1.70 on a scale of 4.00 (or equivalent);
NUS Veterinary Medicine Entry Requirements
The NUS Veterinary Medicine programme is a full-time undergraduate course with an annual intake of 60 students.
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements:
Singapore citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents;
At least 16 years old at the time of application;
Have completed the GCE ‘O’ Level examination, or its equivalent, with not less than five passes (including English and Mathematics) in one sitting;
Have obtained good results in relevant subjects in previous examinations (where applicable); and
Have a good command of English language.
the following are the minimum requirements for admission into the BVM programme. Applicants must meet all of these requirements.
2 A-Levels (GCE) at Grade C or above in Biology, Chemistry and one other subject from Arts or Social Sciences; or
3 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with credits in Bahasa Melayu and English.
4 Year 1 pass in Biomedical Science at UPM (or equivalent).
