Northwestern Cherubs Acceptance Rate

Northwestern College is a private, liberal arts institution located in Orange City, Iowa. The school was founded in 1901 and has been educating students ever since. The college offers both undergraduate and graduate programs, with a total of 38 undergraduate majors and 20 graduate programs available. There are also several pre-professional programs available in such fields as nursing and education. Northwestern College offers online degree programs in Nursing, Education Administration, Business Administration, Criminal Justice and Information Technology.

Northwestern College has an acceptance rate of 65%, which makes it one of the most selective schools in Iowa.

Northwestern is a selective university, and applications are reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Northwestern accepts more than half of all applicants who apply. The acceptance rate for the Class of 2022 was 60%.

If you’re interested in applying to Northwestern, you should know that the majority of admitted students have SAT scores above 1400 and ACT composite scores above 33. The middle 50% range for SAT scores of admitted students is 1340-1460, while their ACT ranges from 31-35.

More than 60% of freshmen receive financial aid packages that average $46,000 per year among scholarship, grants and student loans combined — an amount significantly higher than the sticker price at many other top schools.
