Entry Requirements

Applicants are required to have one of the following:

  • A completed bachelor degree in a business related discipline from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent; or
  • A completed bachelor degree which includes a major in business, commerce, marketing or management; or
  • A completed graduate certificate or higher qualification in a business related discipline from a recognised higher education institution.

English language entry requirements

International students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission. Possession of one or more of these qualifications, in addition to the academic entry requirements, does not, in itself, guarantee a place at the University of South Australia. Applications are considered on an individual basis and selection is competitive. Where previous study/work experience was conducted in English, the application must be accompanied by certified documentation from the educational institution/employer certifying that the language of instruction/employment was English.English language test

The minimum English language entry requirements for international students who do not speak English as their first language are as follows:
Undergraduate programs
• International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic: Overall 6.0 (with 6.0 in Reading and Writing) obtained within the
last two years, or a corresponding result via one of the alternative English language tests recognised by the University.
Postgraduate programs
• International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic: Overall 6.5 (with 6.0 in Reading and Writing) obtained within the
last two years, or a corresponding result via one of the alternative English language tests recognised by the University.

Please note that many programs have a higher IELTS (Academic) requirement than the minimum of 6.0 (with 6.0 in Reading and Writing)

PRIMARY LANGUAGE PATHWAY
