To date, it holds the most number of ABET-accredited programs for a single campus in the country with 11 engineering and three (3) computing programs (‪www.abet.org). Eight (8) of Mapúa’s engineering programs are also accredited by the Philippine Technological Council – Accreditation and Certification Board for Engineering and Technology (PTC-ACBET). It is the umbrella organization of the thirteen (13) professional engineering organizations in the country and a provisional member of the Washington Accord, which promotes outcomes-based standards in engineering education worldwide. Graduates of the program may receive credit in seeking registration or licensure in the jurisdiction of another signatory member. Meanwhile, three of the University’s computing programs are also accredited by the PCS (Philippine Computer Society) Information and Computing Accreditation Board (PICAB). It is a provisional signatory member of the Seoul Accord, which is the counterpart of the Washington Accord in the field of Information Technology.
