You can find an MD without a bachelor’s degree.
Most medical schools require students to have a bachelor’s degree, but some don’t. These schools are often known as osteopathic schools or colleges, and they’re generally not as well-known as MD-granting institutions. At these programs, you’ll learn the same basic material as your counterparts in more traditional settings—only the names of classes may differ slightly.
In addition to bachelor’s degrees, some medical schools also require student applicants to have completed an internship before starting their studies.
