ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

Students are required to bring in their most recent report cards. Previous knowledge of the English language is not required. All prospective students have to go through a level assessment. Level assessments are arranged upon request.

ENROLLMENT PROCESS

The process of applying for the school:

  1. Fill in the registration form. You will receive a confirmation message stating that you have received a place for the level assessment. The assessment date will be announced afterward.
  2. Take the level assessment.
  3. Pay the registration fee of 1000 euros to confirm your place in the school.
  4. Sign the school contract.

COSTS & SUBSIDIES

Our yearly school fee is 8900 euros. Daily lunch and all school supplies, excluding textbooks, are included in the fee.  1000 euros registration fee is deducted from the total amount of 8900 yearly fees. Please contact us regarding installment options.

Language of instruction

The language of instruction is English. We also teach Finnish as a second language. Students are not required to know English prior to enrolling in the school.

Program

Kielo International School follows the Finnish basic education legislation and the national curriculum, with the national standards and distribution of lesson hours. The school collaborates with the local educational department of Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa. Consequently, officers from the mentioned department evaluate the educational outcomes and objectives of Kielo school.
