Naruto and Sasuke vs. Momoshiki: Which Episode Do They Fight In & Who Won?

As you probably know by now, the worlds of Naruto and Boruto have provided us with a series of brilliant fights that became – some of them, at least – trademark moments of the whole show. Now, some of these fights are interesting enough for us to discuss them here, and we have decided to tell you about the epic fight between Naruto and Sasuke on one side, and Momoshiki on the other side. You’re going to find out when it happened and who won the fight.

With the help of Boruto, Naruto and Sasuke managed to defeat Momoshiki and Kinshiki as they raided Konoha during the exams. The battle was foreshadowed in Episode 61 and started in Episode 62, spanning over a total of five episodes, before ultimately ending in Boruto‘s Episode 66, back in July 2018.

The rest of this article will further elaborate on the above-given answer, as we are going to analyze the said fight in more detail. We are going to bring you an overview of the events that led to the fight and also tell you how the fight itself evolved, after which we are going to tell you the exact episodes you need to watch if you want to relive the fight yourselves.

Naruto and Sasuke vs. Momoshiki: Who won?

In the anime, Urashiki showed up and informed Momoshiki and Kinshiki about Kaguya’s fate, apparently having an attraction to a planet dweller, creating biological weapons, having children and being sealed by them, something considered a betrayal of the clan. Momoshiki stated that the lesser beings on the planet deserved praise for dealing with her.

Dissatisfied with the amount of chakra, Kinshiki informed him that he detected a larger chakra source, so they decide to go for it. As they flew to Konohagakure, Kinshiki commented that he could feel multiple large chakras gathering together, Momoshiki affirmed this by stating that he could see it, using his Byakugan to see the large Chakra within Naruto.

Suddenly, Momoshiki and Kinshiki Ōtsutsuki appeared and started attacking the arena where the exams had been taking place. Naruto was knocked out of the arena by Momoshiki but he rushed to defend his son when he was in danger and was soon joined by Sasuke and Sarada. Sasuke informed Naruto that the two enemies were the new threat that was hinted at in the scroll.

Naruto realized he was their target and demanded to know what they wanted from him. After Momoshiki revealed he wanted Kaguya’s chakra and possibly Kurama’s chakra from the Seventh Hokage, Naruto and Sasuke combined Kurama and the Susanō to protect themselves and their children from enemy attacks. Naruto also sent clones to protect the civilians who failed to flee the arena.

Determined to protect his son and his friends, Naruto finally decided to allow himself to be captured by Momoshiki’s jutsu and asked Sasuke to take care of Boruto for him. Just before disappearing, Naruto looked over his shoulder and smiled at his son. Naruto was then teleported to another dimension and bound by Momoshiki and Kinshiki to a Divine Tree.

Naruto resisted as Momoshiki extracted half of Kurama’s chakra from inside Naruto. The two debated the merits of instant strength and gained strength, leading Naruto to realize his own lack of effort in trying to understand Boruto, causing him to cheat with the shinobi gauntlet. Sasuke, Boruto and the other Kage arrived to save him.

Naruto, surprised to see Boruto wearing his old jacket, told his son that he felt like he was looking at one of his own clones. When he attempted to apologize to Boruto for not being there for him, Boruto replied that it was no big deal and he just wanted to know more about Naruto’s past.

After the other Kage failed to defeat Kinshiki and the latter was absorbed by Momoshiki, Naruto and Sasuke joined forces to fight him and initially gained the upper hand until Naruto was briefly imprisoned by rocks and Sasuke being severely burned by Momoshiki’s Yoton. Naruto became enraged seeing Sasuke injured but was relieved to find that he was fine and still able to fight after being healed by Kurama’s chakra.

Combining Kurama and Susanō again, they were able to defeat Momoshiki and slice his lava creature in half, but Katasuke rushed in and began firing ninjutsu attacks from his Shinobi Gauntlet at Momoshiki, which he absorbed and used to attack Naruto and the others. Naruto was restrained by black sticks as Momoshiki prepared to take out the rest of the Kage.

When Boruto used his Vanishing Rasengan against Momoshiki to free his father and the other Kage, Naruto was very surprised to see that his son was able to use the Rasengan. As they prepared for the final assault, Naruto helped Boruto create a Parent and Child Rasengan, which Boruto himself threw at Momoshiki and eventually killed him.

After the battle was over, Naruto sat down with Sasuke and the Hokage agreed that Sasuke had won their bet. Naruto proudly looked at his son and declared that he would always be there to watch him grow. Back home, Naruto posed for a photo with Boruto, Sasuke, and the other four Kage. One morning, as Boruto was leaving to join his team members and Naruto was leaving for work, both of them wished each other to do their best and made a fist to fist. As Boruto gave a talk to a reporter live on Konoha TV, Naruto watched her from his office.

In what episodes do Naruto and Sasuke fight Momoshiki?

The arrival of Momoshiki was foreshadowed at the end of Episode 61, titled “The Iron Sand User: Shinki”, which premiered on June 7, 2018. The actual fight started in Episode 62, “The Ōtsutsuki Invasion”, which premiered on June 14, 2018, and ended in Episode 66, “My Story!”, which premiered on July 26, 2018. The story had a similar structure in the manga, with Chapter 4 foreshadowing the clash, which actually took place in Chapters 5-10.

Kakashi vs. Obito: Who Won the Fight? (& Is He Really Stronger?)

Kakashi vs Obito: Who Won the Fight? (& Is He Really Stronger?)

As you probably know by now, the world of Naruto has provided us with a series of brilliant fights that became – some of them, at least – trademark moments of the whole show. Now, some of these fights are interesting enough for us to discuss them here, as we are going to not only analyze the fights, but also bring you an analysis of the characters involved. This article is going to focus on the fight between Kakashi Hatake and Obito Uchiha, as we tell you who won and who the stronger character is.

Kakashi, as his former friend and sensei, cnan defeat Obito in a fight. The two of them have clashed, and while Obito was able to injure Kakashi, it was Kakashi who dealt a more decisive blow to Obito and would have killed him had he not gone to help his allies in battle. Kakashi simply has more experience and skill, which is why he defeated Obito.

Now that you have the short version of the answer, the rest of the article is going to be divided into three sections, with the first two introducing the characters, their powers, and their abilities. In the end, we’re going to give our final verdict and explanation on why Kakashi was ultimately be able to defeat Obito in a direct fight.

Chakra and Physical Prowess

Kakashi is a natural genius, evidenced by the fact that he graduated from the Ninja Academy at the age of five, became a Chūnin at six, and a Jonin at thirteen; in addition to having had a long career as ANBU. During his career as a ninja, he has learned more than a thousand techniques (mainly by copying them through the Sharingan), being a Konoha expert in said field.

His chakra level experiences a large increase between the first and second parts, being able to increase the number of times he can use Raikiri per day (six times), with the addition that he has enough Chakra left to use his Mangekyō Sharingan. He is frequently entrusted with important tasks (such as keeping an eye on Naruto in case the Nine-Tailed Fox’s seal begins to fail), eventually rising to assume the position of Hokage.

Kakashi vs. Obito: Who Won the Fight? (& Is He Really Stronger?)

Obito’s chakra reserves were bolstered by the White Zetsu Matter equipped to his body, allowing him to perform several chakra-intensive techniques without noticeable exhaustion. He also has the ability to absorb chakra, as well as the ability to transfer his own to another person. Obito was proficient in taijutsu, he fought Kakashi several times, while controlling the outcome of their last fight.

His physical strength was great enough to lift Konan by the throat with one hand while he was badly injured or to easily block a sword strike from Kubikiribōchō. He was also very quick able to follow Naruto’s Kyūbi Chakra Mode.

From our perspective, it seems that Kakashi is better in the Chakra category, whereas Obito is more powerful in the physical sense. This is why we actually decided to split the points here.

Points: Kakashi 1, Obito 1

Dōjutsu

His Sharingan is a gift, interestingly, from Obito Uchiha personally, and it allowed him to copy any jutsu, see through any Genjutsu, perform Genjutsu, and predict the opponent’s moves. However, because Kakashi has no Uchiha blood, he cannot deactivate the Dojutsu, and he loses a large amount of Chakra when using it.

For his great mastery, he has received praise from other expert users, such as Obito and Sasuke, who acknowledged that despite being a borrowed power, he has completely mastered it. Kakashi was able to further enhance his Sharingan by developing his own Mangekyō Sharingan. This eye technique has the ability to manipulate space, and has been shown to be able to suck in targets or even rip parts off a target and send them to another dimension, as well as being able to use this technique on itself to teleport from one place to another by instant.
