Becoming a California real estate agent requires you to meet several requirements. First, you must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. You must also pass the California State Board of Realtors’ (CSBR) salesperson examination. Additionally, you must complete two years of pre-licensing education from an approved pre-licensing education provider, or complete the 60-hour alternative course of study.
