The American Bar Association (ABA) is the largest voluntary professional organization of lawyers in the United States. It facilitates the exchange of ideas, fosters continuing legal education, and supports programs that assist lawyers and judges in serving their communities.
For more than a century, the ABA has presented standards for accreditation to foreign law schools that seek to educate students in the United States. In order to be eligible for accreditation, a foreign law school must meet certain conditions and requirements set forth by the ABA.

There are also three international schools – Oxford University’s Faculty of Law (United Kingdom), Melbourne Law School at Monash University (Australia) and The National University For Juridical Sciences At Chittagong (Bangladesh).
