Ferris State University offers a number of residence hall options to accommodate your preferences. All halls are completely smoke free, equipped with Ethernet, laundry facilities, and a small kitchenette. All residence hall residing, incoming freshmen who are not 19 years old before September 1 of the current academic year, students are able to select from the following unlimited access Anytime Meal Plans. Many students elect to purchase an all you care to eat meal plan after their first year. Purchase your meal plan in MyHousing using MyFSU.

Crimson, Gold, and Platinum anytime meal plans allow students an unlimited number of meals, seven days a week, throughout the semester.

The 14 Traditional meal plan provides 14 meal swipes each week throughout the semester. Use all them in one day or ration them out, for example, using two meals day seven days a week. The 14 plan also allows you to use one swipe per day for meal exchange. Meals are reset each Sunday just after midnight.

Ferris State University offers different residence options spread across our campus.  Residence Halls are located within one of the following three Zones:

North Campus

North Campus

North Hall – Double rooms, Built in 2017
Clark Hall – Single rooms, 19+ required, Recently Renovated
Hallisy Hall – Single Rooms
North campus is the central hub of campus and close to classes.  Buildings close by include: FLITE, The UC, Arts and Science, Swan, Plastics, Music, Science, Starr, Granger Center, & Automotive.NORTH CAMPUS

South Campus

South Campus

Brophy/McNerney Hall – Single and Double rooms
Ward Hall – Single rooms
Merrill Hall – Studio Suite rooms
Travis Hall – Single and Double rooms
Pickell Hall – Single rooms, Honors
South Campus halls are conveniently located next to the Rock café, The Market, Business and IRC buildings, and Honors.  Students typically choose to live on South Campus to be close to the main dining facility or to live in Honors (Pickell).  Additionally, many of our athletes live on South Campus to be closer to athletic facilities.

SOUTH CAMPUS

West Campus

West Campus

Cramer Hall – Single and Double rooms, Suite Style
Bond Hall – Single and Double rooms, Break Housing, Liberation House
Puterbaugh Hall – Single Rooms, Honors
West Campus halls are conveniently located next to Pharmacy, Allied Health, Optometry, Criminal Justice Academy, Hospitality Management, DPS, and Bishop.  Students typically choose to live on West Campus to be close to the health academic buildings, to live in honors (Puterbaugh), to live in a suite style room (Cramer), or to have access to break housing (Bond).  Many of our International students choose to live in Bond Hall for the convenience of break housing.WEST CAMPUS
