In Canada, the average annual salary for an environmental engineer is $83,794. But where does one find the highest paying jobs? Environment Canada reports that the top paying country for engineers is Newfoundland and Labrador with an average annual salary of $85,196. Of all of the provinces, it ranked first in number of working engineers per population with 10.039 per 100,000 people.
