Dr. Siska is the best Chem professor I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. He is very approachable and nice, and always willing to meet with students who have problems understanding something. Although his university chemistry pdf book was written to be used in his physical chemistry course, if you are like me, you’ll need to get a basic 5-course series of book (including Organic I) or look online for solutions to help you understand some of the concepts covered in this book. Either way though, I highly recommend this professor and book no matter your major!
It is really easy to access The University Chemistry Bruce Mahan Pdf Download in read online format when you look for it on a place overflowing with Chemistry textbooks and other literature e books just at the press of a button. I was a student in Dr. Siska’s Honors Chemistry course in 2003-2004. Although this book was not yet professionally published, I used Dr. Siska’s self-published version. I can honestly say that I learned more from this bruce mahan physical chemistry pdf drive than any other chemistry text. The difference is that Dr. Siska forces students to solve basic Physical Chemistry problems in this book, and teaches you the general ideas of how each idea is used in the world around us. After taking his Honors Chemistry class and then taking General Chemistry, I had an easier time in General Chemistry because I already understood how each type of problem worked and what they were supposing to teach me (ie (H = 0, H = ? pathlength?, …). If you’re looking for a college chemistry book, or want an advanced high school chemistry book, get this one!

I can honestly say that I learned more from this text than any other chemistry text. The difference is that Dr. Siska forces students to solve basic Physical Chemistry problems in this book, which requires an intrinsic understanding of General Chemistry. If you can solve (and more importantly, explain) the solutions to the problems in this text, then it is more than likely that you have mastered the underlying concepts in General Chemistry I and II. I’m a huge fan and I give this book two thumbs up.
