Sara Ney’s college story is, well, just that–a true story. Yes, she really is a 30-year-old college student. Five years ago she started college out of the blue… with an eighteen-month old toddler in tow. Let me repeat. She started college with her toddler in tow! If you have ever wondered if it’s possible for a married, busy mom to go back to school while getting visitation from the ex-husband who only shows up on her weekends when she doesn’t need him.

I just happened to be in the right place at the right time for this one. This book will not only find your funny bone, but it will tickle it too. I received a copy of this book from Net Galley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review and all opinions stated in this review are my own.

This is one of those books that I truly believe deserves the 5 star reviews it receives. It was funny, the romance was sweet, the characters were developed. I read it and couldn’t put it down. I know Matt came off as a sarcastic a-hole but that didn’t bother me for some reason. Probably because I like sarcastic a-holes. The h was down to earth, witty and the banter and texts between them was very entertaining. I write books myself and I do this because there are simply not enough books that are written like this one. I write what I like to read. I’m glad I found this author. I read the 1st book in her series right after I finished this one. The only downfall is the typos. I read and reread and I send to an editor and yet I still find typos in my own work so I understand the struggle. However – this book is doing very well sales-wise and when I say there are quite a few typos, I’m not kidding. Just needs a bit of polish and it will be perfect. I think this author is great and I look forward to reading more of her work.

This novel, along with all others in this series, is a standalone with no cliffhanger. You’re welcome.

“Trust me – If there’s one thing I’m not attracted to, it’s the shrieking, overly-dramatic shrew that’s taken over my sister’s apartment. And what is up with her hair? I know what I want; an easy, uncomplicated lay – and Cecelia Carter sure as shit isn’t one. But I never could resist a challenge, and vow to wipe that condescending grin off her pretty face. Aw, shit. Did I just call her pretty..?” – Matthew Wakefield

“Trust me – If there’s one thing I’m not attracted to, it’s an arrogant, selfish and foul-mouth hockey player. I know what I want; someone who’s good for my body and soul and makes me laugh – and Matthew Wakefield isn’t any of those things. I cannot stand the sight of him; I mean, what a jackass. If I refuse to give him anything but sass and sarcasm, it’s only because he deserves it…” – Cecelia Carter

This book is intended for those 17 and older. If you’re offended by cursing (particularly “F” bombs), sarcasm, sexual situations and Alpha Male jackasses – this book is not for you…
