  1. Complete the online application. 
  2. Submit your official ACT or SAT scores.
  3. Send us your immunization records: proof of two immunizations for measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) over the course of your life.
  4. Pay your $40 non-refundable application fee.
  5. Send us your transcript(s) –
    • official high school transcript that includes graduation date, class rank, and grade point average. (An official transcript is one that has been mailed or electronically sent directly from the institution to William Carey University.)
    • Notarized high school transcript for homeschooled students
    • Official GED transcript (minimum score of at least 150 in all four content areas, with a total score of 600)
    • Official and final college transcripts for high school dual credit classes
    • Official and final AP Credit course transcripts and scores.

International Student Admissions

Complete your FAFSA application.

All students wishing to receive federal financial aid must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA can be completed electronically at https://fsaid.ed.gov.

Students (and parents, if there is a dependent) must register for an FSA User ID and password at https://fsaid.ed.gov.

Be sure that William Carey University’s school code is on the FAFSA; our school code is 002447. To add or remove school codes on the FAFSA, visit http://www.fafsa.gov and make corrections to the processed Student Aid Report.

Submit your Scholarship Application.

William Carey University’s scholarship program is offered to students who are seeking their first undergraduate degree and is based on ACT/SAT scores and transfer GPAs. These scholarships are awarded to all students who meet the requirements until funds have been expended. The amounts listed for these scholarships are the amounts awarded each year contingent upon satisfactory academic progress.  Scholarships are not available to students who already hold a bachelor’s degree.
