Complete Your 180-Hour Texas Pre-License Courses Online
Before you apply for your Texas real estate license, the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) requires 180 hours of essential real estate education with an approved provider like us.
Let’s face it, commuting to a classroom isn’t how you want to spend your precious time. That’s why our Texas pre-license courses are delivered entirely online. You can finish them at your own pace, on your own schedule.
Pass Your Proctored Course Final Exams (From Home!)
For each course, you’ll need to take a proctored final exam. TREC requires pre-license finals to be overseen by a third party to make sure you don’t look up the answers. Typically, this involves an in-person test in front of an eligible proctor. You can take your exams this way if you prefer.
When you purchase our Premium Package, it will include 100% online and on-demand TREC-approved recorded proctoring service for each of your final exams. If you purchase our Basic Package, for an additional fee, you will be able to add our online proctoring service to your order at checkout. This allows you to take your pre-licensing finals anywhere, as long as you have a camera, microphone, and internet connection.
Once you’ve passed each final, you’ll get your certificate of completion. You’ll attach all 6-course certificates to your license application as proof of training.
- The employees at official testing or learning/tutoring centers;
- Librarians at a school, university, or public library;
- College or university administrators, faculty, or academic advisors;
- Clergy who are affiliated with a specific temple, synagogue, mosque, or church; and
- Educational officers of a military installation or correctional facility.
- An authorized notary.
- Members of the court system – Judge, justice of the peace, magistrates, and prosecutors.
- Law Enforcement Officers – Sergeant, lieutenant, or captain
Prepare to Pass the Texas Licensing Exam
Texas’s real estate license exam is four hours long and administered at testing locations throughout the state. You can retake the exam if you fail, but you’ll have to pay an exam fee for each attempt and if you fail 3 times, you’ll have to complete more coursework before you can test again.
In other words, you want to get it right the first time.
We can help there, too! Our exam prep course addresses the same national and state-specific topics that you’ll find on the official exam. We’ll help you practice so you can walk into the state licensing exam with self-assurance and walk out with a passing score.
Some of the Best Online Real Estate Schools in Texas 2022
Learn more about a few of the top online real estate schools that offer Texas pre-licensing courses to help you decide which option is best for you to kickstart your real estate career.When it comes to getting your Texas real estate license online or in-person, there are many providers to choose from. You can select a more traditional classroom experience through in-person or live video courses or take your classes online. Every student is different, so it’s up to you to make the decision based on how you learn best and what your individual needs are. We want you to choose the best real estate school in Texas.
In Texas, there are several different schools that offer online real estate licensing courses. So how do you choose? Again, there are a variety of factors to consider, such as whether you prefer courses designed for online learning or a classroom experience, and the features and benefits that each provider’s product includes. In our opinion, however, one of the most important considerations is the real estate licensing provider’s pass rate for the state and national exams. This can help you evaluate how students who use that provider perform on those exams. Luckily, this information is easy to find. The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) publishes provider pass rates on a monthly basis.
Below, we’re sharing a few providers with some of the best pass rates that have had at least 1,000 students take the sales agent exam, according to the TREC website as of January 20, 2022. Please visit the TREC website to see a list of all providers.
