Wish I would have read the reviews first.

If I had, I would have run the other way. The product, in this review doesn’t matter, it barely arrived within the timeframe and it worked. It’s all about the companies policies and their customer service, excuse me, THE TOTAL LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. When I read about this product in the Apple News APP, it said $19.00 by entering a code. There was no place for a code, so I paid full price. Within less than 12 hours I had buyers remorse and wanted to cancel the order and sent an e-mail to “customer service” to request the order be cancelled. The answer I got back, 24 hours later stated the order had already shipped and all sales are final, first lie. I received a second e-mail another 24 hours later with instructions on how to cancel the order, also stating there is a cancel button, lie number two, but the order did show it had been shipped. I guess the company feels that responding to an e-mail with erroneous information constitutes good customer service. They provided me with a weird tracking code, that never produced any information “tracking code cannot be found”. When I sent another’s-mail asking who the carrier was and a tracking code, I got the information, stating the order was being prepared for shipping, lie number three, with the standard “sorry for any inconvenience “. With each e-mail, and there were many, I tried to share my wisdom of good customer service, having 31 years of customer service experience working for AT&T. For instance, my credit card was billed immediately when I placed the order, most companies bill when the order ships, very shady. When the last e-mail I received from a supervisor of customer service asking me to change my thumbs down review to a positive thumbs up, regarding my interactions with the customer service people, not about the companies policies, I had a good laugh. When my order arrived, I unsubscribed to the website, their constant sales e-mails were annoying, blocked both the website and the customer service e-mail address. I found it interesting that all the negative reviews gave detailed accounting of the problems customers experienced but the good reviews did not. Wonder why. Mashable isn’t even worth a one star review. Hopefully you’ll save your money and sanity and run the other way, like I wish I had.

I ordered a Sew Table from Mashable…

I ordered a Sew Table from Mashable after looking for one and the stupid Edge coupon said I could save $70. USD compared to Amazon. I am sorry I just didn’t pay more at amazon since I have never had a bad experience with them and there returns are convenient. Any ways I received the sew table unwrapped in a box and the item rattled before opening the box. After opening the box screws just started falling out and as I inspected the table notice glue around the screws that fell out in an attempt to repair the item. It was dusty and dirty and I took pictures and wrote & e-mail to Mashable to inform them of how they treated a first time customer. Well it will be the last time for your truly. The old saying you get what you pay for is so true when you deal with these incompetents’.

Absolutely a scam

Absolutely a scam. I purchased an item. It didn’t work with my computer so I asked to return it. I had to follow up multiple times. Then they asked ME to pay for return shipping even though that’s not mentioned on their return policy. The shipper is in China and can’t make their own return labels for some reason. Last correspondence was “Please know that you will certainly be refunded as long as our partner merchant has confirmed and advised.”

Apparently returns are contingent?

I was the victim of a bait-n-switch…

I was the victim of a bait-n-switch scam where I was attempting to buy a specific very popular item and was sent a cheap fake.

The box had almost identical pictures from the real product, but with with broken English and an obscure product and company name. They didn’t even bother to have the specifications match, like for example the waterproof rating.

When I contacted customer support they claimed that all sales were final and ignored the fact that I was not sent what I ordered.

I contented the charge with my credit card company and they refunded the charge no problem.

Don’t buy the Carsule Pop Up Tent from Mashable.com

I ordered the Carsule Pop Up Tent for my SUV from Mashable in August of 2020. I was told I would receive it within 2-3 weeks. I did not receive the tent until October of 2020. I live in Minnesota and the weather was terrible by the time I received my order. Since I could not try it out, I stored it for the winter. On May 9, 2021, I was finally able to check it out.
There is a roof support part that is missing. I have reason to believe that this will leak when it rains because you can see daylight through the seams. They are not tight and sealed. There are many little pin holes in the roof also. According to the product description, the Carsule is light weight and easy for one person set up. This is NOT the case. It is heavy and the smallest amount of wind makes it extremely difficult to set up.
I immediately notified Mashable.com about everything that was wrong. I was told they would contact the merchant about my claims. I just wanted to send it back and get my money back. That did not happen. After emailing for a month, I was told that the merchant refused to refund or take the tent back.
At this point, Mashable.com basically told me that’s it. I have asked them to contact the merchant on my behalf to get the missing roof support. I am told to contact the merchant myself. Now I am stuck with a $300 piece of junk with missing parts.
I do not recommend that anyone order from Mashable.com.

Avoid them if possible!

To Mashable:
I must admit that you seem unprofessional because first you sent me a link to redeem code and now you say it works only in first month after the purchase. It means you and your experts didn’t even look at when I purchased Degoo and didn’t read my emails because I explained it all. Also said that “degoo” promised to pay back a long time ago so it’s impossible to use “redeem link” that works only in first 30 days if I am already struggling more than a month to get my money back.

Can’t change country/language !

I live in Belgium, so when I went to mashable.com I was redirected to nl.mashable.com… like, Belgian people all speak flemish lol (in fact they are about 50%, the other part (Brussels included (80%)) speaks French). I see that often on the Internet. The worse is that you cant switch to another language, even by changing the URL, you’re always redirected to the NL site. And no footer because of the infinite scroll. I guess Flemish people would be frustrated as well if they were always redirected to the French version. Bad experience for me.

The funny thing is that’s the same problem with Trustpilot. But here I’m not automatically redirected (it’s only a suggestion), and I’m able to switch the language. Why websites don’t redirect user according their browser language? I don’t understand, honestly.

I bought a set of I-pod pro and two different iPod cases. I looked at these reviews and freaked out. I then canceled my iPod pro and cases but only iPod pro was confirmed cause I wrote three different emails. I let the refund for the cases go to see if the cases would get delivered. They did. My money was returned for the iPods and insurance in three days. The cases are great for the price. The address is accurate for the company. I do trust them and I don’t have any complaints. The only thing Is that the warranty wasn’t from Apple. They do ask that I not write many emails cause that could send some to the bottom of the list. Best wishes everyone

I highly recommend, do NOT use this website!

It looks like this website is selling used or damaged products, or they buy all the products that didn’t pass quality control from manufacturers in China and sell them as final sale on a discount.
Or some customers don’t even receive their orders at all. I guess I was lucky to get it.
After reading some reviews, I have changed my mind and decided to buy the product on the retailer website, even that it is more expensive.
I have tried to cancel my order right away the next morning after I placed the order. They notified me that all sales are final, even that it says on the website page ” we accept returns in 30 days”. I confronted them about the 30 days return.
Then they wrote me back that they are checking with their partner vendor if the order hasn’t shipped yet, if yes they can’t cancel. 3 days later I got a shipment notification, and a following email that they can’t cancel my order because it has been already shipped. Yeah sure!
Then I submitted a return request. They sent an email with some ridiculous complicated return instructions. I decide to go along with it anyway.
Long story short they don’t do cancelation or returns, or refunds for people who didn’t received the product. Their customer service is sending nice emails, but taking the customers in circles, until you realize that the return instruction that they give you don’t exist, and it’s a dead end. The links that they provide, leads to false information about how to return and don’t work!
They do everything they can to get the customers fade out from returning orders. Nor there’s not really a way to return anyway.

Hello Ahrue,

Thank you for contacting us and we are sorry to hear you are having this issue. Unfortunately, this is an unauthorized sale from Mashable. We have been having issues with retailers selling used and damaged products and have asked Mashable to stop.

The DADO app can’t be connected to used or refurbished units and DADO shut down all new enrollees. Only existing accounts can be accessed, no new ones can be created at this time.

You will need to return the brewer to Mashable and tell them you need a full refund.

We are sorry for the inconvenience,

Lara

After I sent them this email directly from Behmor, the sent me this;

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in, and apologies for the trouble you are experiencing.

It would be helpful if you could provide more details around the issue you are running into.

If you can send me a screenshot of what you’re experiencing on your side that should help me as well. The more information I have, the faster I’ll be able to figure this out.

I look forward to working with you!

Do NOT Buy, They’re A Partnership Scammer!

This merchant is a scammer that partners with their supplier! I purchased a Levimoon® // Moon through Mashable Shop and it will not levitate no matter what I do! I noticed the the base of the unit gets very hot to the touch almost to the point of singeing my fingers.

Here is Mashable’s response:
I’m so sorry to hear your Levimoon may not be working as intended. I’ve reached out to the vendor of this product to resolve your issue, and to potentially send a replacement if they are unable to troubleshoot the issue. In the meantime, it would be helpful if you could send us a photo or video illustrating the defect with your item, which would help us expedite resolution.

My Response:
There’s nothing to photograph! Did you read my note? How does someone photograph heat? How does someone photograph the lack of levitation? How does someone photograph a rocking base on a flat surface? Should I go on?

Mashable’s response:
My apologies for the confusion. I was hoping to get any evidence whatsoever so we could send it to our vendor partner.
Anyway, I went ahead and contacted our vendor partner and I believe they have already reached out to you and resolved the issue. Should you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to email us.

My Response:
You are mistaken, the vendor, Levimoon has NOT resolved the issue with the device. I am still waiting for a replacement that works. If I don’t get the issue resolved regarding the defective Levimoon by January 06, 2020, I will have no other recourse but to contact my credit card company.

Please expedite the replacement process by issuing a return shipping label with a RMA number.

After several email exchanges, they tell me it’s too late to return the defective product. It sounds to me that they delayed on purpose!

WHAT A SCAM!

Don’t purchase anything from Mashable

I purchased a fitness streaming service two weeks ago. I was sent a link to a non secure redemption website that required me to upload personal information in order to redeem the “offer” that I purchased. After about 10 conversations with Olivia, and repeatedly sending screenshots of the non secure website I was offered a credit. Like the other comments above, Mashable makes you think you are purchasing something from them, when in fact the transaction on my PayPal statement was with stackcommerce. I was told by Mashable that they couldn’t refund my money because they had already paid the vendor, stackcommerce. Olivia kept telling me that stackcommerce would contact me but they never did. I finally contacted stackcommerce and an Olivia was the customer service representative which made me think that the same fake Olivia was handling my complaint for both Mashable and stackcommerce and that they are really the same company. Olivia #2 had no resolution either. “”She” sent me the same link to the same non secure website. I’m disputing the charges through PayPal. I don’t see how Mashable or stackcommerce are still in business. Quite the scam they have going to just keep blaming different divisions of their company. Do not buy from them!!
