Apply as a freshman or transfer student through the Office of Admissions.
If you apply as a transfer student, select “University of Florida” as your first choice school and then choose one of the other six schools within our university system (e.g., UF Online) as your second choice school(s). Transfer students must have earned at least 30 credit hours by the time they start their studies at UF Online; exceptions are made for certain programs only after consultation with an advisor from that program area.
Request information about admission requirements for all majors offered by each college so that you can review each major’s website and determine if it is right for you!
Use our online application portal or call us at 1-888-FLA-GRAD (352-4723) if there are any questions about how to submit documents or what materials are needed in order for your application file to be considered complete by our office (for example: transcripts from previous institutions attended).

You can apply for fall 2021 at uf.edu/apply. The online application will open on June 1, 2020 and close on August 15, 2020. You’ll need to submit an application fee of $30 as well as official transcripts from all colleges that have been attended previously (including high school).
If you’re accepted, follow the instructions for paying your tuition deposit and housing deposit within 10 days of receiving our acceptance letter. Otherwise we’ll assume that you are declining admission and releasing your space in our class!
