I had trouble walking in a straight line or even to get my words out coherently. I felt sharp pains under my breastbone which were indescribable and were constantly with me. The first hour was always OK.. but by 2 or 3pm the effects would hit me from nowhere. All would be well one minute, then a feeling of coming back from outer-space almost.. The second week was the same – only this time it was coupled with terrible headaches which started off as a dull ache at the back of my head and built up to blinding head pain until I just about passed out.
