According to a study done by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), about 2.4 million people were employed in call centers as of 2016. This means that there are many companies out there looking for workers. However, it doesn’t mean that they’re willing to pay them well enough to live comfortably without other sources of income.

The highest paying center in our survey was callcenterjobs.ph at $6 per hour, with some companies offering up to $7/hour for customer service agents.

The flexibility is also excellent, and the career prospects are promising thanks to the massive demand for these services around the world. It’s definitely not an easy way to make a living, but with hard work and perseverance, it’s certainly possible to succeed as a call center agent.
Example: The Bureau of Labor and Employment Statistics based in Manila indicates that the monthly average salary of call center agent is around 9,000 to 12,000 pesos. If you’re an employee working in a call center company you’ll never be bothered with all the unimportant issues. You just need to focus on answering your incoming calls and helping the customers. It’s simple, isn’t it? Your only job is to give 100% customer support. But sometimes, giving 100% customer support could go a long way. For example, when one of your clients have just lost his passport or credit card; this could ruin his entire trip if you don’t act immediately. Be quick and calm to give assistance and tell him not to worry at all. Without realizing he might even upgrade or book another flight ticket for additional trips or may also create another booking for his friends’ future trips. See? Your job doesn’t end up there.
