The MA Design is a two-year postgraduate course that combines an intense studio programme with a critical research element. It allows students to develop their own practice and find their own voice in architecture. The course is taught by internationally renowned academics who are also working architects, giving you the chance to learn from some of the most influential voices in contemporary architectural practice.

There are four modules available: Architectural Design Studio (1st year), Building Construction and Technology (2nd year), Critical Studies (2nd year) and Dissertation (2nd year). You may choose to take only one module per semester if you have other commitments, or opt for one module per semester plus an additional dissertation unit for those planning on going on to continue studying at PhD level later on in life.

PgDip Architecture

The School offers a two-year, part-time programme which can be done from anywhere in the world.
