The AA School of Architecture is a world-renowned centre for architectural education, research and practice located in Central London. The school is part of the Architectural Association and consistently ranked among the top 10 universities for architecture worldwide.

So how does AA’s ranking compare with other schools? Well, out of all the universities in the UK, only one – AA – managed to achieve Top 10 positions for both its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in both rankings. This is no mean feat as we have no doubt you’ll agree!
THE (Times Higher Education)
The AA has also been ranked 7th in the world for Art and Design in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2017. This is a significant achievement that puts our students, who study a wide range of subjects including fine art, architecture, interior design and product design, at an advantage when competing with other universities around the world.
The AA’s undergraduate programmes are consistently highly-rated by employers too – 92% of employers say that their graduates have good communication skills, 93% say they’re creative thinkers and 89% believe they possess high levels of critical thinking ability.
RUR (Round University Ranking)
RUR ranks the AA at second place for its postgraduate experience. The rankings are based on a survey of employers, who are asked to give their views on how well universities prepare students for employment.
The latest round of RUR rankings also placed the AA in second place behind Cambridge University for undergraduate education, and this is the first time that any institution has achieved top 10 positions for both its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in both rankings.
