They have done away with their traditional premedical curriculum and replaced it with a unique core curriculum designed for all UMN college students. As part of this core requirement, you will take courses like “Medical Humanities,” “Public Health” and “Social Justice.” If you meet certain GPA thresholds (3.2 GPA overall or 3.5 science GPA), then your application will be fast-tracked into their MD program upon completion of their BS degree at the end of year 4!
